This past weekend female rappers Nicki Minaj and Trina celebrate their birthdays in Atlanta. Nicki Minaj's actual birthday is December 8th! and Trina's bitrthday was December 3rd. Several other celebs attended this event such as Teyana Taylor and Floyd Mayweather. The birthday bash was a huge success!

New SoSo Def Recording Artist Dondria is about to take over
For those who dont know about the up and coming artist from SoSo Def Records, Dondria aka Phatfffat is the hottest artist to hit the sceen in a long time. She was discover by Jermaine Dupri who is also known for the success of TLC, Jagged Edge, Xscape and Kris Kross, to name a few. Jermaine Dupri discovered Dondria on her youtube channel back in 2006. It was then he knew he wanted to sign her and he got in contact with her. In a recent interview with James Andrews on Nov. 23rd Dondria stated that she didnt believe it was JD at first and he wound up calling her 3 times before she believed it. Already having approximately 2 million views on her YouTube channel JD knew there was something special about this young girl. Dondria began to hit the studio and record tracks for her album with ther first single "Cant Stop" which was released last June. Dondria was scheduled to release her debut album "Dondria vs Phatfffat" last July but due to some label issues with Def Jam everything was put on hold but now her project is ready to take the world by storm.
On November 6,2009 she released a mixtape entitled "Dondria's Duets" were she took the ten hottest male R&B songs from artist like Trey Songz and Maxwell and put her own little twist on it. It was last said that the mixtape was over 10K downloads. You can go download a copy at global14.com/dondria. Today (November 23,2009) she released her OFFICIAL single "You're The One" produced by Jermaine Dupri and Brain Cox. Her single is availible at Amazon.com and iTunes. So far her single has recieved posotive feedback as I am a fan of it myself, and yes I have the mixtape and the single! Her album "Dondria vs Phatfffat" is scheduled to be released in spring of 2010, and it was defenitly worth the wait!
